Chiru wants to become central minister

Chiranjeevi doesn’t fit in this arrangement, as he doesn’t want Kiran to be replaced. It is being said that Chiru is not also interested in immediately stepping into the shoes of either Kiran or Botsa. He wants to take an active part in the electioneering in 2014 and become the Chief Minister then. In the mean time, he would be satisfied with a central m
inister’s post, say sources.

Exercise continuing

Still, the exercise over reinvigorating the party and the administration in AP is continuing in Delhi. Congress high command is likely to apply its mind to the issue seriously, after the close of the current session of the Parliament. The general thinking in the party leadership is that should there be replacement of the Chief Minister, the post should go to a leader of Telangana. In that case, the PCC post would go to a leader of Andhra region. If the PCC chief were to be chosen from Telangana, Kiran might be continued.
